Public Leaderboard

The Backyard BRRR leaderboard displays race results from RunSignup, which are publicly available on runsignup.com. This includes: - Participant names and rankings - Distance totals by activity type - Team affiliations

If you're a Backyard BRRR participant and want to hide from public listings, use RunSignup's "Hide Yourself from Public Lists" privacy setting.

Invite-Only Features

For invited users who log in, we offer additional features to track your personal Backyard BRRR progress. These features collect additional data:

Strava Integration

When you connect your Strava account, we collect: - Activity data - type, distance, duration, date, elevation - Profile info - name, athlete ID - Device info - from your activities

Manual Entry

If you log activities manually: - Activity details - type, distance, duration, date

What We Do With Your Data

  • Track your Backyard BRRR progress - personal dashboard
  • Store it on our server - locally, not shared with third parties
  • We don't sell, monetize, or share your data - Period.

Who Sees Your Data

  • You - through your dashboard (invite-only)
  • Other visitors - leaderboard rankings (public RunSignup data only)
  • The administrator - me (for technical support only)

Your Rights

  • Disconnect Strava - removes access to future activities
  • Hide from RunSignup - use RunSignup's privacy settings
  • Request deletion - contact me to remove your data

Security

Standard protections: OAuth 2.0, encrypted tokens, HTTPS.
